During the Qing Dynasty, Empress Dowager Cixi aimed to establish a dictatorship, employing venomous creatures to control eunuchs and attendants, turning them into obedient, puppet-like zombies. However, as the population of these zombies grew, they began to impact ordinary citizens, spreading disasters similar to an epidemic throughout the region.

Huang Yang, a Maoshan Taoist priest, was entrusted by the locals with the crucial task of quelling this calamity and embarked on a journey. In the town of Guangxi, it was discovered that mutated officials were draining people’s blood, causing casualties and chaos, as the venomous creatures multiplied and spread. There, Uncle Yang opened an altar and utilized magic to enforce heavenly justice.

This fictional backdrop was created by Bico Liou, the founder of the “Mo” brand, setting the story in late Qing Dynasty China. This theme is reminiscent of the horror stories from Hong Kong movies we saw in our childhood.
