Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the broadcast of “Ultraman Dyna” with this “S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou” figure of Ultraman Dyna Flash Type from Bandai! The body of Shunsuke Gondo, the original suit actor for the character, was scanned and digitized down to the skeletal structure to meticulously recreate the suit from that time. Under the supervision of Tsuburaya Productions’ modeling department LSS, the sculpting was done by Yutaka Narita, who was in charge of sculpting Ultraman Dyna’s mask at the time, to recreate its exquisite balance. A scan of Sunsuke Gondo’s hands was also performed to ensure accurate hand expression, including stance poses, as seen in the original footage; Ultraman Dyna’s iconic thumbs-up hand is included, as is the Solgent Ray effect part.
